7 Days Until We Leave

Only seven more days until our group of 24 students and 8 adults leave for Guatemala City, Guatemala.  A huge mission field and opportunity to share the Gospel awaits us!  Our main focus during the week will be on the local school that our church supports.  We will lead a Bible club Monday-Friday from 9:00AM to 12:00PM which will include music, recreation, crafts, and Bible story.  Over 80 preschool aged children will be hearing the Gospel everyday while their parents work in the Guatemala dump, sorting through the piles of garbage looking for anything that can be recycled for money (this is their only source of income). 

Our afternoons will look completely different.  Our team will actually become three teams that will rotate through three different ministries; loving on children at a malnutrition center, leading a Bible club at an orphanage, and doing construction projects around the dump and school.
