Monday VBS

During the first full day here, I got to go to the landfill to be a part of a VBS for those kids. Just walking through the landfill to the church opens your eyes and makes you realize how truly blessed we are. Once I met the kids and started to play with them, I realized that all they wanted was to be loved. You would walk in and their faces would light up. They would hold your hand, hug you, or ask to be picked up. They were so joyful to be with you. I loved being with those kids today and can not wait to see what The Lord has in store for the rest of this trip.
